SONY ELECTRONICS + VAIO Touch Influencer Marketing Campaign. In partnerships with Marcus Troy, we worked with Sony Electronics to launch the Sony VAIO Touch line in Canada through online initiatives and a launch event in Toronto.
We recruited online influencers to review the products, giveaway a VAIO TOUCH on their site and host the product launch. VAIO Touch content was shared pre-event, during the event and post-event #VAIOTOUCH achieved trending status in Toronto reaching +2 million impressions in 24 hours.
It seems clear that digital influence can’t be measured based on a series of quantitative data. An influencer can’t be recognized by the number of followers obtained, or by retweets. But influencers can be recognized by their ability to mobilize opinions of their followers within a given subject matter. The Sony VAIO TOUCH launch was a concrete example of that.
